I took Saturday off seeing as I was pretty sore. Ran another 5k this
morning and finished in 38min and 48 sec. Woo Hoo, under 39 min.
Hopefully that guy who ran it in 39 mins last year is there and he
has not trained a day since then. I'm not holding my breath tho.

The First Step
I ran 3.1 mi this morning to see how difficult this 5K was going to be.
It's now early evening and boy am I sore. My time was 41min 18 sec.
Not very impressive seeing as the last time this race was run the slowest
male time was 39 min. I have 9 days to prepare.

Deleon Springs 5K
My brother Chet is Visiting and has talked us all into entering a 5k run.
Deanna, Jinelle, Brittany, Chet ,Vinnie and myself will be heading to
Deleon Springs very early Sunday morning of the 6th.
I'm sure later that morning I will be re-evaluating what I ate for breakfast.

The First Post
The Day after X-mas and all is still merry. I think the majority of my posts will be fitness related seeing as we all have been on a fitness craze as of late and can use this to keep tract of our progress. I can also drop good links to fitness stuff that seems useful here.
